Writing Prompt: Opening Lines #4

Take the opening line of a novel as the starting point for a piece of writing. Go in any direction with it and write for 30 minutes.

Pick your own opening or use this one:

“Seven o’clock on a Monday morning, five hundred years after the End of the World, and goblins had been at the cellar again.”
